The first video below shows a large red base crane with a mounted drilling unit. The kelly bar is telescopic and attached to an auger. Drilled material is removed by reversing the auger once it is lifted out from the drilled hole. Also do note the completed bored piles by the sides, those with reinforcement sticking out.
The second video is a bored pile being drilled using a hydraulic rig or rotary drilling rig. Again drilled material is removed by reversing the auger.
